Everything's coming together

It is hard to beleive that tomorrow is Valentine's Day 2008!! With the beginning of a new year comes the start of my official launch of business. Everything is coming together nicely and I am so excited to be able to offer new and exciting products and services. A few changes you may notice for this year include:

--In-person ordering sessions (this will give you the opportunity to see and touch your images, along with samples of available products).
--A new price list (basic pricing is available on my website, or you may contact me for a complete overview)
--New products such as Fine Art Canvas', Coffee Table Books, Session Albums, Collages and Storyboards, DVD slideshows, and more.
--An option to purchase digital files of your images (low res for your computer, cell phone, ipod, etc. -or- a full res file for printing up to 8x10s).

I wanted to 'celebrate' these wonderful changes by offering a gift to all new and returning clients. All sessions booked between Feb 14th and March 31, 2008 will receive a $75.00 print credit with their paid creation fee.

He's got some MOVES!

I had the distinct pleasure of photographing a 21 month old, Dancin' Machine, this Thursday. Master 'B' was too cute with all of his hip shaking, arm flapping, dance moves. After a little candy courage (aka M&Ms) and help from the Jock Jams CD, we were able to capture the TRUE Bryson. Isn't he a charmer??!!

First Session of the Year

Photographing these two cuties was a WONDERFUL way to start the new year. This was our second session with Miss Grace, who brought along big sister Isabella (and Mom & Dad) this time. What a beautiful family, and so easy to work with. The personality of both girls just shines through their breath-taking eyes.

My Style

Not all great portraits are of smiling faces (although I never turn down a genuine smile). A great portrait captures raw emotion, fleeting moments and true expressions. I strive to create photographs that will freeze time, allowing you to look back and relive your life's story.

Many of my favorite images are of thoughtful faces and soulful expressions. I am not afraid to take chances with my photography, using unique crops/angles and color (or lack thereof) to make artistic statements. Backgrounds and props should add something to the image, not detract from the subject. The same holds true for clothing.

Whether in the studio, or on location, I strive to create custom portraits--unique, but real. I want to capture the TRUE story.
